San Marino, April 2, 2025 – Today, an official delegation from the Unitelematica, composed of General Director Dr. Milo Dolci and the Rector Prof. Torello Lotti, was received at the Secretariat of State for Education and Culture, University and Scientific Research, and Youth Policies of the Republic of San Marino.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Hon. Teodoro Lonfernini, Secretary of State, in a cordial and productive meeting aimed at exploring new collaborations in academic, scientific, and editorial research.
During the meeting, discussions focused on joint research projects, the development of international university programs, and new scientific publishing initiatives involving young scholars, doctoral candidates, and researchers. Special attention was given to the prospect of launching bachelor’s and master’s degree programs with a presence in the Republic of San Marino, with the goal of promoting high-level interdisciplinary education and inter-institutional collaboration.
General Director Milo Dolci emphasized that “this occasion marks a significant step forward in building an international academic network, with San Marino as a strategic hub for the development of high-quality scientific and editorial content.” Rector Prof. Torello Lotti added: “We are honored by the warm welcome. The dialogue with the Secretariat of State reveals a forward-thinking and shared vision for advanced education and applied research.”
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to continue discussions in the coming weeks, with the aim of formalizing institutional agreements and launching the first technical working groups.
